Thank you for your interest in becoming a vendor at the Newmarket Farmers’ Market.  Applications for the 2024 Season are now closed.

Applications for the Christmas Market will be available in September.

Application Process

Here’s everything you need to know to apply for the Newmarket Farmers Market in 2024.

As a Farmers’ Market, we are required to maintain a minimum 51% farm vendors and are very limited in the number of non-farm vendors we can accept.

  • Step 1: Read the 2024 Rules and Regulations carefully as changes have been made for the upcoming season.  This contains all the information you need to know about being a vendor at the Newmarket Farmers’ Market in 2024.
  • Step 2: Download and complete the application for your business type
  • Step 3: If you are a FARM or FOOD Vendor, please download and complete the Vendor Application Event Form from the York Region Health Department.
  • Step 4:  Rename all forms with your Business Name.
  • Step 5: Submit the application AND Health Department form (if applicable) through email to or through traditional mail to:

Submitting an application does NOT guarantee acceptance into the market!

After the deadline, all applications will be reviewed by our Board of Directors at their next meeting.  During this meeting, applications will be evaluated and a vote will determine whether or not to accept any new vendors. Applicants will be informed of the Board’s final decision after the meeting in March.
