Growing the Local Food Experience

About the Newmarket Main St. Farmers’ Market

The Newmarket Main St. Farmers’ Market is an independently operated not-for-profit Association, run by a group of Vendor volunteers, with strong support from the Town of Newmarket.

Established in 1999 by local farmers and residents, the Market is open rain or shine, every Saturday from 8:00am - 1:00pm, May through October. Acting primarily as a place for residents to access locally grown and produced foods, it is also a vibrant gathering space with live music, special events and opportunities for community engagement.

A Christmas Market is held every November for both regular season Vendors and additional local artisans and makers.
