When are you open?

The Newmarket Main St. Farmers’ Market is open rain or shine, every Saturday from 8:00am - 1:00pm, May through October.

Are pets allowed at the Market?

Yes, well behaved pets who are comfortable with crowds are welcome at the Market. Pets must be leashed at all times and owners are responsible for their behaviour.

Do the vendors accept debit/credit cards or only cash?

Most of our vendors are able to accept both cash and cards. We always recommend asking the vendor about their preferred method of payment.

Are there washrooms available onsite for the public?

Yes! We are fortunate enough to have public washrooms at Riverwalk Commons. They are located on the east side of the Community Centre and Lions Club Building, facing the splashpad.

I am interested in becoming a vendor at the Market. How do I apply?

Applications for the regular season of the Newmarket Main St. Farmers’ Market are available in January. However, we would love to hear a bit about your business to see if you would be a good fit for our market. Click here to fill out an interest form.
